About

This indoor market opens daily, displaying the work of local artists, designers, and vintage dealers in an industrial warehouse space. The gathering is smaller and less congested than the indoor Young Designers Markets in Soho and Nolita, with a greater focus on accessories than apparel. Around twenty-five stations manned by the designers themselves line the perimeter of the room and fill in the coveted center space, creating narrow aisles for shoppers to browse. T-shirts and cotton dresses hang overhead, and a blaring playlist of Pitchfork favorites gives the market a youthful, social feel. Standouts include Georgia Varidakis’s vintage-inspired gold and brass jewelry, Ryan Wilde’s throwback veiled, feathered, and beaded millinery, and a notable stock of affordable vintage shoes, ranging from weathered moccasins to stilettos. Long tables in the rear are covered with heavily discounted used books, stacked spine-to-spine and spilling over onto nearby shelves. The roster of sellers often changes by the day, week, and season, so check back regularly for newcomers.
