After spending 6 years as a construction project manager in Manhattan, our founder, Ian Vernon, became inspired to build something extraordinary. He began the entrepreneurial journey to form Home Frite and founded the business in Spring of 2013 in Brooklyn, NY. Frying in his apartment test kitchen, dreaming up and creating sauces, polling friends and family with menu possibilities. Trial and error. Luck and Fate. From marketing and business structure to the perfect fry oil and sauce portion Ian laid the foundation, ready for a perfect team.
