Fawkner

Fawkner is the latest project from the team behind The Bell House (Gowanus), Union Hall (Park Slope), and Floyd (Brooklyn Heights). The name Fawkner is from an old term used to describe Falconry. While the bar will host a selection of outstanding local and regional craft beer, whiskey, cocktails and wine, there will also be a menu of exceptional bar food. The food menu will be available at a service counter with runners bringing the orders out. “The concept was to create an environment where the food service does not drive the utility of the space. Counter service allows us to invest energy into the food and menu that might otherwise go into managing floor service and staff,” said co-owner Kevin Avanzato.
