JMorris Design is a bespoke interior design studio specializing in interior architecture, furnishings, finishes, and décor for high-end residences, offices, hotels and restaurants. We apply timeless design principles to create signature spaces imbued with clean lines and stunning decorative personality, balancing a modern aesthetic with a reverence for classic forms. We deploy architectural training and uncompromising attention to craft to provide transformative design concepts that honor the style of our clients.
Principal Jennifer J. Morris leads the design process with a focus on efficiency, cost effectiveness, and managing all phases of a project to deliver superior quality and value with uncompromising attention to detail. JMorris Design emphasizes professionalism, project management skill, and attention to craft in every aspect of the job. We listen to our clients, and place the client’s style, aesthetic, and ethic at the heart of every project.
She was an interior designer at Rockwell Group in New York City, serving as designer and project manager on many of the firm’s signature restaurant and hotel projects, including Canyon Ranch Miami Beach, Bobby Flay’s Mesa Grill at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, Emeril's Miami Beach, and Emeril's New Orleans Fish House at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
Previous experience includes positions with Robert A.M. Stern Architects and Jeffrey Beers International in New York City.
She has had full-time and part-time teaching appointments at New York University, Parsons The New School For Design, and New Jersey Institute of Technology.
Graduate of the School of Architecture and Interior Design at the University of Cincinnati’s College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning, the nation’s top-ranked interior design program.
Certified by the U.S Green Building Council in Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED).
Certified by the National Council for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ).
