Brewery Ommegang

This uncommon Belgian-style pale ale is bronze in color with citrusy, spicy, floral hop flavors and aromas coming from the liberal amount of Bravo, Styrian Goldings and Columbus in the brew kettle followed by dry hopping of Bravo in the conditioning tank.

About

Hop House has combined the delicious aromas and flavors of Belgian-style pale ale with more hops than we've ever put in a beer. A well-balanced, yet ample hop character defines this fine pale ale offering citrus and tropical fruit aromatics and flavors, a full body and a lush white pillowy head.

Pours a nice deep gold and slightly hazy with a thick long lasting head that leaves a beautiful lace. A fruity almost bubble gum nose with a grapefruit zest over tone, and slightest hint of resin. The light, clean, slight biting, and herbaceous bitterness balances perfectly with the light bready malt body and smooth effervescence. Overall this is excellent hoppy session ale to pair with. Hop House is delicate enough to pair with a salad of hearty greens and herbs with a citrus vinaigrette and sharp cheese yet still bursting with flavor and body to hold up with grilled chicken, fish, or pork.
